This is a great question and when I saw the title on this documentary at the Hamptons Film Festival, it looked like a great film to see. This film rebuilds the incredible art world of New York in the 60’s and the answer about who gets to call it art is that Henry Geldzahler, the first curator of the modern art collection of New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, does! I was happy to see that Palm Pictures added this title to their collection of “art” titles. Check out “How To Draw A Bunny” for another Palm title in this line. We understand that “Who Gets To Call It Art?” is going to be in theatrical release in early Spring and perhaps to DVD by May! We’re waiting for it!
