The US Navy base at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba houses the notorious detention center for persons deemed by the US Government to be terrorists. They are held here without Constitutional or Geneva Convention rights. Naomi Wolf reports in the London Times on her recent visit and concludes that conditions are little changed from the End of America report before the US Presidential Election.

The Devil Came on Horseback, the extraordinary film on the genocide in the Darfur region of Sudan, has been nominated for 3 Emmy Awards following its television presentation on the National Geographic Channel.
