Spring Equinox Indie Collection!
Thousands of years in the making (traditionally), the Vernal/Autumnal Equinox occurs every year on March 20th (or March 21st) and in some places signals the beginning of Spring. The sun aligns over the equator and we experience equilibrium between day and night time. The difference in name relates to location: the Vernal Equinox occurs in the Northern Hemisphere and the Autumnal Equinox occurs in the Southern Hemisphere. A second equinox occurs each year on Sept. 22 or 23.
