American Battleship Wraps Up
American Battleships, a current production for The Asylum based in Burbank, California, recently finished its onsite filming at the U.S.S North Carolina Battleship.
The film explores the struggle of a long American battleship crew as they battle against the human Armageddon brought on by an alien force. The film features noted stars Mario Van Peebles, Carl Weathers and Johanna Watts.
The Director of the Wilmington Film Commission supports the high volume of requests for productions using Wilmington locations, as it stimulates the economy and brings further attention to the locale (which can support both large-scale features films as well as small-scale independent films almost simultaneously). This particular locale has been used in many other popular productions such as One Tree Hill in addition to projects by The Discovery Channel and other noted companies.
American Battleship is slated for launch mid 2012, click here to find more information on the production via Dreadcentral.

All I hear is really a lot of whining about something you can fix if you ever werent too busy in search of attention.
