Northside Festival Kicks Off
Brooklyn’s Northside Festival kicks off tomorrow with a series of entrepreneurship seminars hosted by leaders in the art, music, and film world. The series stretches out until Friday and hopes to target the question, “What’s next?” in innovation and entrepreneurship. The seminars cover innovation, design, software development, music, and films while showcasing the latest technology from NYC’s hottest start-ups.
For our generation of thriving culture and technology, this is a great event to go to and learn from the people making it happen. Featured panelists include leaders from ESPN, Wu-Tang Clan, Tribeca Enterprises, New York Times, Songza, Atlantic Records, and many more.
The music festival also begins tomorrow and continues until the 17th featuring Class Actress, Darlings, GZA (who is also speaking at the entrepreneurship festival), and tons more. Northside art picks up on the 17th and the film festival takes over from the 18th to the 21st with screenings of highly talked about films such as “Ai Wei Wei: Never Sorry” and Lena Dunham’s “Creative Nonfiction.”
