Student Filmmaking Showcase @ Beloit International
The Beloit International Film Festival celebrates the roots of filmmaking this year with its Student Filmmaker Showcase!
This program is for 6th – 12th grade students. Entries can be of any genre, must be between three and five minutes long, and will be created by the students themselves. We will be having a prep day at the library on Saturday, January 21st from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students can bring in their projects for feedback or help with technical issues in the film making process.
The Grand Prize winner will receive an award at the annual Launch and Laurels party on Thursday, February 16th at the Eclipse Center. All other filmmakers will receive awards on Saturday, February 18th at the Student Filmmaker Showcase which will be held at the Beloit Public Library.
