Award Winning Film @ The JCC Manhattan!

The JCC Manhattan hosts a number of film events over the course of the year, paying homage to its decade of dedication to the creative community. This week features several screenings, one of which has won great acclaim.

The film Incessant Visions with screen Tuesday, Mar 06, 2012 from 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM. The tickets are $9.00 for members and $11.00 for nonmembers. Here’s a quick synopsis:

This award-winning film reveals the untold story of Erich Mendelsohn, one of the most influential architects of the 20th century. Based on Mendelsohn’s journeys and relationships, the film is a spectacular interpretation of one of the most captivating chapters in the development of modern art. Through Mendelsohn’s rise to fame in Germany, escape to Israel and journey to the US, we see a beautiful depiction of an era.Incessant Visions explores the life of the expressionist architect and illuminates him both as an artist and personally.
