On Your Mark, Get Set, MOW! is set to screen at the 2012 DC Independent Film Festival, and represents a people and a cause that is worth every bit of recognition. With a hobby they love, the lawn mower racers strive to support fun all while aiding in the fight against Huntington’s – a genetic disorder in which nerve cells in certain parts of the brain waste away, or degenerate.

The film was funded through Kickstarter last month and we hope they continue to gain support for their cause. The DCIFF runs from February 29, 2012 – March 4th, 2012. Check out the festival webpage of the DC Independent Film Festival for information on screenings.
