Meet the Your Film Festival finalists
The finalists for the first ever YouTube Your Film Festival have been announced! YouTube has become a major factor in discovering talent, sharing voices, and connecting communities across the United States and the world and has expanded that reach with this new dedication to independent filmmakers.
The finalists chosen will all be flown with Emirates Airline to the Venice Film Festival, one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious film festivals, and have their films showcased at a special screening. The Your Film Festival jury will then cast their votes for one overall Grand Prize Winner who will receive a $500,000 budget toward the making of original YouTube content with assistance from industry veterans Sir Ridley Scott, Michael Fassbender, and the team at Scott Free Productions.
