The Northside Festival is New York City’s largest and most accessible discovery festival. From June 13-20, 2013, hundreds of bands, entrepreneurs, filmmakers, innovators, and over 80,000 fans will converge on Brooklyn over eight days to witness an incredible showcase of what’s next in music, film, entrepreneurship and art.

The 2013 Northside Festival is finally open for entry, and if you were lucky enough to attend the 2012 you know it’s a festival worth trekking to!  Brightening the light of creativity in the bustling innovative epicenter that is Brooklyn, New York the Northside Festival specializes in all things created from nothing for the endless enjoyment of an audience.  The art, films and music featured at this festival benefit from a myriad of submissions spanning diverse genres and interests, so if you’re considering submitting do so!

About the Northside Festival:

Since it’s inaugural run in the summer of 2009, the Northside Festival has grown from a small DIY-affair to a full-fledged discovery festival taking over 50+ venues in Williamsburg and Greenpoint and featuring over 350 bands. Past musical talent includes Guided by Voices, GZA, Of Montreal, Atlas Sound, Beirut, Wavves, Jens Lekman, Olivia Tremor Control, Theophilus London and many, many more.  Last year, they expanded from Music, Film and Art to include a two day Entrepreneurship festival which featured more than 40 lectures and educational sessions.
